Site, build, own and operate strategically located EV charging facilities

CHALLENGE

APPROACH

Voltera's customers needed a seamless user experience between the physical space and the digital platform. We must design and operate the facility to account for varied vehicle types and duty cycles, charging needs, and driver amenities, reducing the time vehicles wait for a charge. All this info needs to be accessed by different customers at any given time.

User Persona(s):

Customers accessing the data, analysis, and documentation of different charging locations.
A user who is tracking EV charging services at a specific site.

We expend the capital and assume the risk, delivering shared or dedicated facilities as a service so users can keep their resources focused on optimizing fleet operations. We develop, obtain, and organize that information to keep everything on track. The user will be able to track relevant information about delivery schedules, power consumption, and risks.

SOLUTION

A dashboard to access all the details was built.

Bringing the physical world into digital space: The charging approach enables higher fleet productivity, cleaner air quality, and shorter wait times for drivers. Our dashboard shows all these details, with individual operational pages connected to each truck's information, charging station information, error cases, fleet schedules, and charging consumption prices.
Smartcharger Station offers truck drivers a lounge complete with critical amenities as well as providing information such as charge status, remaining time, power output, and performance. The dashboard integration allows Voltera to provide customers with real-time updates on demand, location, timing, and utilization of charging infrastructure, thus unlocking scalable efficiencies.

First-ever intelligent freight operating system that provides AI-powered data insights and powers the entire ecosystem in both the physical and digital worlds.
Voltera achieved a lot from this project, which will help inform and guide our continued build-out of zero-emission vehicle infrastructure nationwide.
The design allows users to quickly see all of the charging sites in a given area and the status of each charger. They can then click on a specific site or go to its dashboard to get more information.
